All about the BEANS!!!

Sam loves to pour water from one container to the other, so today I gave him beans.. (and some cereal  made it's way in there left over from breakfast.... This was an attempt to not have a huge watery mess..

I started with just having him pour things inside of the bigger container to TRY to contain the mess..

He had plastic and glass containers with all different shapes and sizes. 

This lasted for a while.. Inevitably, most of it ended up on the floor.. I was fixing dinner, so it was fun to have him "help".  He always wants to help..

Dylan Knowles 10-2011

I'm soo bad I have not really kept up with my blog and my plan on making this my New Years resolution, but please don't hold your breath.. Sorry for the late posting..

So finally announcing Dylan's birth here is a start!!! 6 weeks old today, better late than never..

Dylan Knowles, born 10/2011- 8:30 am, weighing 8lbs 4 ounces.. via c-sections. We were allowed to have the camera which was awesome.. And all I remember is not seeing a lot of Phil.. I was okay they had me loaded on painkillers and DEMEROL.. It made me so itchy I couldn't stop itching my nose.

My doctors were awesome.. they even removed the previous scar tissue from Sam's cut that I got a little tummy tuck!!

Dylan had a bit of jaundice and had to stay on a billie bed/blanket thing for a day. I called it the baby tanning bed!! It looked scarier than it was.. Glad it was my second child I would have been freaked if it were my first..

After 5 days in the hospital Dylan and I were on our way home. I actually enjoyed the rest and relaxation of the hospital and the service there was great..

My little pumpkin is very happy and healthy. And all smiles.

Halloween 2011- Little Lion Man & Cowboy

Sam is my little Lion Man for Halloween this year.. Oh yea and a Cowboy..

We have 5.5 days before baby #2 is here.. I'm not posting name as that is still 8)5 up in the air.. Dylan Kyle is the front runner at this time.. And we want to see him before we assign hin that name for the rest of his life.. We all know how the name William ended up.. WORE out..

 This is Cowboy Sam, the hat was a little big and he won't really leave it on his head.. He was so cute, in his wagon!!

 We went to Serenity Farms they had a petting zoo, hayride, pumpkin patch, hay maze and face painting.... See later that Sam got a Blue's Clue's paw print on his cheek. Sam loves Blue's Clue's.

 Sam enjoyed the bumpy hay ride.. We got there in the late afternoon on the first day, so we were pretty much the only ones there.

 This is one of the many goats that they had in the petting zoo... Altough it doesn't look like he is at all happy.

 Oct 22, 2011- Anne Marie Gardens had there annual " Halloween in the Garden". the lines were CRAZY.. We paid $1 per person and the weather was perfect, so I guess we can't complain too much..

I think Sam liked the colors and textures of the different squashes.. I really like this picture..

Beach in August.. 7 months pregnant.. ugh

I love the beach don't get me wrong, but there is something to be said when it's freakin' hot and humid.  Oh ya and your 7 months pregnant..
This summer we have gone to the beach every Monday with our mom group.. I've been hanging in there.. need less to say the farther I get in my pregnancy, going any where really takes some second thought. Sam really loves the beach and he has his buddies there just like I have mine.
Jellyfish + hot sweaty sand covered baby = unhappy tired mommy!

The last 2 days the weather has been beautiful!!!

Thursday - We headed out to Jefferson Patterson Park, went on a little nature hike and ate lunch.. Sam even got his first taste of sand.. That didn't work out, so well the first time.. so of coarse like anyone he tried it again

Friday- we spent most of the day on the boardwalk in North Beach. In the morning we went to the community center they have a monthly obstacle coarse for the kids.


For lunch, we tried to avoid the seagulls, and enjoy another lunch out.. on the beach.
